Anyone know how long the neutral safety switch pin is? I have a couple of pins in my parts box and am not sure if any are correct. The T5 is rebuilt and sealed and I am concerned about inserting the incorrect pin and getting it jammed or locking up the rail.

Why even insert it? The switch isn't a "Neutral SAFETY Switch", it's a "Neutral Gear Switch" and is used to tell the ECU when the car is in neutral. On T-5 applications the "Safety Switch" is a clutch interlock switch.

Bart if I wire it into the harness like the original C4 Neutral Switch it will stop the car from starting when the shifter is not in the neutral position. My understanding is that on a late model Mustang the car will start 2 ways, trans in any position with the clutch depressed or trans in neutral regardless of clutch position. Or am I mistaken?
