I have a question concerning the tail light panel on my mustang. I was thinking about swaping my 68 panel for a 67 shelby panel. I was wondering what kind of mods if any it will take to make this swap possible. Thanks!!!!!!!

I believe you can add the Shelby tail light assemblies without removing your tail light panel. YOu can druill extra holes for the lamp assemblies...
Wait for Trouble's owner to chime in as she should have some feedback for you...

When you go to install your tailights you will find very little of your original tailight panel is left !
It's almost end cap to gas cap with little metal left over.
The hole is amazingly large.
I'm on the wrong computer to shoot youa pic -- hopefully someone else can show it.

Also, have you looked at a 67 Cougar (Shelby) tailight?
It sticks out a bit -- no wonder Shelby put on a different trunk lid -- it makes the tailights not quite so 'bug eyed'.
The 68's are much 'flusher'.

I should put my shelby in my sig pics...
