To the "Old Fart's Club"
hehehe! For those of you who haven't seen this yet, I was ROTFLMAOASTK!
Teebone, I hope you don't mind me reposting this over here on the new board, but I figured others could use a good laugh!

Before this old forum closes down, I thought I would take this opportunity to pass on some helpful tidbits of advise I’ve learned over the years of working on cars:
1. I always take my dentures out before getting under the car, don’t want to risk damaging them with a dropped wrench or something!
2. When I’m in the garage, I wrap foam around the legs of my walker to prevent accidentally scratching the cars paint.
3. I’m always careful when working around Pertronix or MSD modules. Those high energy ignition systems can raise hell with my pacemaker!
4. I find it helpful to pin a note to my shirt stating who I am, where I am and what I’m doing. That way, I can more quickly get back on the task after an Alzheimers attack.
5. I’ve found that a good way to prevent annoying leaks from messing things up is to always wear my Depends when working on the car, especially if I’m going to be bending over the engine bay.
6. I wear my flesh colored nasal oxygen tubes when driving the Mustang. It’s not so noticeable and doesn’t alarm other drivers as bad.
7. I memorize the eye charts before license renewal. Those guys down at Licensing have no idea I’m blind as a bat!
Well, that’s all for now. If I think of anything else, I’ll … I’ll …. wait a minute here, who are you? … where am I …huh?
