I am converting from the 65 cluster to a 66 with gauges. I ordered a temp sensor....I picked it up today. It is three times the size of the old one, it fits but needs no reducer and it has 2 terminals on top. I think they ordered the wrong part. Any thoughts

That doesn't sound right at all. It should be a short stubby little thing (about an inch or so long) with one terminal on top.

The later FoMoCo motors with a "HOT" and "COLD" light uses this style. Take it back & get the correct one with one wire. The Wells part number is TU25. I purchased it from Autozone.
