Just got my Boss back from the body shop. I had given them a quart of the correct PPG textured paint and most everyplace they used it looks great. However, the thin pin stripe around the blackout section of the hood has a very rough edge to it, similar to how regular paint looks when it's not masked off properly.

They used the hood template I supplied them from Graphics Express. The body shop owner said the rough edges on the pin stripe were the best I could expect due to the texture of the paint. Personally, I can't belive they came from the factory that way.

Should I make them redo it?

If your not happy with it, make them re-do it. I used the same stencil and it came out perfect. Thing is it's going to hard to just redo the thin pin stripe.

I had someone else tell me that the pin stripe is actually a tape stripe and not painted on.

Can anyone confirm this?
