I was helping a guy (I thought) install a trunk light on his 67. My 68's trunk light goes out about halfway closed but where the hell's the switch located? /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif

It's between the end of the wire and the bottom of the bulb .Looks like a real short glass fuse with mercury in it .
Check the altimeter rheostat? Maybe set to high/low. *G*

The mercury switch is inside the light housing.

I figured there must have been some kjnd of mercury switch somewhere just by its nature; thanx!

..And Joe; the Pearson Airpark weekly cruise is on again for the summer (Wednesdays) so maybe we can rustle up a few locals to meet up, have a cheeseburger and a beer or two and maybe get lucky and win a TV or something!
