Not that important, but I will add the unit number starts at 100001, so your car was the 624,932 unit produced that year that plant. Other passenger cars besides Mustangs were also assembled on the same line as far as I'm aware.

Add me to the list of Turquoise hardtops too. Mine had a C4 that I converted to 4 speed. The hardest part was finding a toploader. I searched as best I could for 2 years and just gave up. My son-in-law who is a hound dog when it comes to scrounging parts came across one locally. I bagged it for $340. Welcome to the forum.

Allen, Welcome to the Forum! You have already received a lot of very good comments and recommendations. There is a wealth of info here and planning your course ahead of time will result in the car being just what you like and the pride from what you built.
