A/C on and the house is a nice comfy 70. Just one window air and it does the whole main floor. I love insulation.
Garage was a nice 75 deg until I ran the compressor doing all that media blasting.
It's insulated too.
But today after creating all that heat it was 80 inside (outside around 90). Because of the trees and the stream around the property the humidity is much higher than in the subdivisions.

I'm supposed to building additions -- not sitting inside.

We were down in San Diego over the weekend--talk about eff'in HOT!!!! Saturday in Escondido, it was 116 degrees; Sunday it was "only" 101 with what felt like 99% humidity   Monday morning at 4:30am near the airport, it was already 80 degrees and all of the cars in the motel parking lot were sopping wet with condensation. Finally at home this afternoon, it registered a cool 95 on the back porch, but at least it wasn't humid and I could breathe! Glad to be home to the heat pump we installed this past December...it ran all day long just to keep the house at livable 75 degrees.

Yeah, found one...with college about to start, they were going fast! Couple that we had earmarked Monday to look at were gone by Tues. morning. So we decided we better jump on something while there was still something available in our price bracket!
only about 3-4 blocks from UNLV so that should work out nice.
I have a friend who's wife is the Marketing director at the Tuscany. We had a meeting with her and I think we got him a job there!
If it all falls together he'll be working with the Casino host putting together promotions.
Geez...23 yrs kid helping put together Monday nite Football parties...and Bikini Contests at the pool...yeah it could be rough! ;)
Now we just have ta do the 1200 miles U haul trailer trip! :(

Hey Ken, congrats on getting the boy set up. How would you make the drive, meaning the route to Vegas? Just curious.

Was originally gonna do the I-5 route....but every Map quest deal says to go down through Boise south..one way through Salt Lake and the other through the desert.
We sell product into Vegas every week so I asked a couple of the truckers which way is best/shortest...their saying the I-5 route would be 4-500 miles further. :( They even told me a couple of shortcuts we could take to save a another 100 miles or so.
So I guess with the current cost of gas...gonna be a "No Brainer"... ;)

I thought it would be something like that, just curious like I said. I-5 is a bitch any way, lots of nothing.
