And unfortuneatly it wasn't mine. I met John and his lovely wife and his lovely 65 convertable at the Elmhurst show tonight. Actually in that order, too.

Anyway this was John's idea. Due to the economic downturn there is a lot of warehouse space for rent for extremely low prices. 1500, 2400 5000 square feet. Oh and did I mention that they are heated? See where this is going? Winter's in Chicago are cold. The space would be warm!

If we were to be a real club we would have a club house ( again it would be warm), a large place to work on out cars ( did I mention warm??) and a cool place to hang out!

Any thoughts??

I don't know about the heated part, but I do need a couple of stalls for cold storage. Do you have any idea as to what the cost would be?

Hey - this would be way cool. I live in the Wood Dale area (Itasca/Elmhurst). I'd be interested in getting together with a bunch of guys and figuring out something like this.

It'd be fun /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Gene:

I say go for it!

Do you think you can try to look into it for everyone?

We could then decide if everyone wants to join in and then figure out how much
the cost would be slpit up among those who are interested.
