I'm in the process of restoring a 67 Coupe (289, 2V)...current exhaust is shot, and wanted to get something on there so that I stop spraying rust and stuff all over the garage when I fire her up. Was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Dynomax Thrush Turbo Muffler? They're $20 at Advance Auto...thought they might be a good interim muffler, but still might have a nice sound.

Any thought would be much appreciated!

Thanks

Very loud, very poorly made, and very short lived.

I had a set. Put them on the car, fired it up and they sounded
great. Went for a drive around the block, first time I floored it
they blew out. Very loud! I sold um for more than I paid for
um. I think it was to a camaro guy, yea that's it, a camaro guy!

Shop around, I think I have seen 'em for $15 or so. When I needed something for the body man to move the car around with they were perfect...

Actually I had 'em on for a summer of driving. Those things sounded pretty damn good.
