*edit - I've been advised that I can't count MopedBoy, rollinondueces, and VMF_Police, as they are all "figments of someone's imagination"!! /forums/images/icons/wink.gif Guess I'm down to 40!!! /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
Your way ahead of me, I have met one. Matt Rosa at Ponderosa Mustang, he only lives about 30 minutes from my place, I drove up there and bought some parts off him once. He is a good man.
I've met about two dozen face to face at CF2.0. There are many others here I'd love to meet as well. Wonder if AussieMustang will fly in for next years CF?? Mrgem, JohnPro, Graybeard, Jttindio, rarefords, and Mustang_Mike would be great to meet in person. I'm sure I left out many others.
BTW, I would have loved to see you at KC, but you were doing inventory!! Our family was kindof on a tight schedule also. I may do something different for next years CF. Maybe fly out of Denver to KC, then thumb a ride to DM with you. Good Idea?!?!/forums/images/icons/smile.gif
Hmmm, i haven't kept count but I have met the bunch at CF 2 and lenny in Rockwell City, A couple of members in Dallas Rmdale was one and some others I cant remember names for...
Probably 26 or 27 total...
Man, you're gettin retentive! I'm no good with names, real or fake, but I know there were several besides your self at the Topeka show, and of course I've met babyhuey, since we live in the same town. There,s another mustang guy here in Auburn who had his coupe at the show, but I don't know if he's a VMFer.(Black 67 coupe, resto-mod)
I was going to say none but I forgot, I met Bob at the marshalltown autocross. I didn't know for months after that he has this forum. Being honest I don't feel "in" enough to go to the corn fed things.
Not a single one. I too don't feel "in" yet but you guys are sure a friendly bunch! Maybe sometime you guys can come a little south... sayKC & I'll tow the unrestored car up & drive it like I stole it!
Sure...Sure.,.you were just looking for an excuse to post that burn-out pic..Sheeesh some guys!..actually folks the dumpster behind his car is on fire..*LOL*
If I tried to list them all, I would surely leave out some, so I don't want to list them. I've met probably 50 or so. Some of them from the old forum that have since disappeared.
I haven't meet one person that is a VMF'er in person. At least we didn't realize we were when we meet. I'm sure that I've talked to a couple of MCOH (Houston) members who are VMFers. I guess I need to get out more often and go to the "Big City".
I suppose I have met about 40 (give or take). Knott's and the pre Knott's cruise being the best sources. If they were there in the last three years, I'm sure we met, even if briefly. I hope to meet many, many more with a trip to CFII next year.
