You didnt say if the tie rod ends were used...by the time the seals crack and fall off the tie rod ends should probably be replaced.
Tie Rod End Seals - Where to buy
I would like to replace my tie rod end dust seals, but I can't seem to find any for the 67-68's. Can I use a different year or am I not looking in the right places?

Actually, I just replaced mine last fall, didn't drive much at all really, and they're already cracked on both sides, so I wouldn't mind being able to track down replacements either...
