I bought a dual exhaust from then for HiPo manifolds a few years ago. While it's not mandrel bent, it went together quite easily and everything fit. On the plus side it sounds better than I thought. Nice rumble at idle and a gets louder as you rev. On highway there was no drone although you can definitely hear it. Can't speak for longevity as I only have 400 miles on it.

That looks like it would be a nice upgrade to a stock exhaust system. It should handle some mild/moderate engine upgrades if you end up doing so.

I like the dual look so I replaced my Single Exhaust on '66 289 - w Dual and GT rear valance $856 Used a local Katy Texas shop to do the work, no sweat for this one.

The factory stuff wasn't mandrel bent, but it flows smoother I think. I had to piece a system together after the back end of mine was ruined in a collision, and I've replaced the tails with mandrel bent pipes. Whatever you get, make sure it's aluminized or stainless. @subpar63 swears by the sound of the Arvinode system. Hard to beat the sound of glass packs, too.

I just got done installing a dual exhaust on my 66 fastback c code , got the complete system from doughnuts back with all the correct hangers and hardware,2” without resonators or trumpets for $460.40, delivered to my house from Precission auto in Connecticut, it’s the third dual exhaust system I’ve gotten from Dave and everything fits perfectly, there number is 860-617-0556 if your interested, he can do the resonators if you wanted them along with the trumpets, Pete

Just did my on a 68 V-8
Complete system, front H pipe and turbo mufflers $200.00 plus 20.00 freight from Virginia Mustang. Got it on EBAY.
I'm happy.

Thanks. I'm looking for a kit that includes the headers as well, though.

Thats a goodly chunk of $$ for a DIY but they do say the tri-y s are ceramic coated.
SS tri-y s with a fair reputation are $100 on amazn or ebay. Another $75 will get a perfect set of glasspacks. That leaves enough left to have a shop bend and weld the rest.
You just have to suffer a loud drive to a shop
