Is there adequate rear wheel well space on a 73 for a 255x60 on a 14x7 stock steel wheel? Using standard springs. I didn't see the 14" on Dodgestangs fit chart. Thanks

I don't think anyone makes a 255-60R14. If so, please post the manufacturer here.

The largest 14" I've seen is a 245-60R14 made by BF Goodrich and several others. I think someone makes a 265-50, but that is too short a tire for a 73, it looks lost in the wheel well.

I've run a 275-60R15 on several of my 71-3's with stock springs and no rubbing issues. I also fit up a 28 X 10.5-15 drag tire on a 15X8 with 4 1/2" offset and no rubbing issues either.

I dont think you'll have problems fitting 255's under the wheel wells. BUT, I think you will have problems fitting 255s on 14x7s. I heard that the widest you could go on 7s was 245s, but I could be wrong...
I'm currently running 14x7s with 235s all around. Looks pretty good if you ask me. But, if I had the money, I would probably be running 15x8s all around with 235s up front and 255s in the back.
