I’m Installing 600 lb. 1” Lowering front coil springs on Friday. I plan to buy 15x6 or maybe 15x7 wheels soon.

Any or you with a similar setup? How large/wide tire can I use with no rubbing? What wheel size should I go with? Will I have to stay w/ 14” wheels b/c of the lowering springs?

Thanks
Dave

It all depends on the backspacing of the wheel. I have 15x7 Torque-Thrus D's on my '66 coupe with the front lowered 1". I have 205x60s in front, and 215x60s in back with no rubbing, and no rolling of the wheel wells.

No problems with 15X7, 3 3/4 backspaced TT-D's with 215/65R15's all around.

Yup, with standard upper A-frame location and Koni's set on "rattle-your-teeth".

I tried 245/60/14 as front tire when I tested clearance for 225/60/15, about same diameter. And that 245 fitted inside front wheel well, well, well. Backspacing was 3 and 3/4. Actually, I am going shopping right now for 15*7 US Wheels Black Daytona steelies. Any opinions?

I have 15X7 styled steel wheels, 4.25" backspacing with 215/60R15 T/A radials and the Shelby mod/620 coils w/1" drop. I have no problems, maybe and occasional rub if I am turned full lock and try to go up/down a steep driveway incline. The other 99.9% of the time there is no problem and they look real good in the wheelwells.
