Hey guys i have a 1972 ford mustang 302 v8 fast back i have bf goodrich radials with the 1968 gt rims they are 14 inches i want to get a little better look and want to have wider tires maybe like 20's 18's something that looks good and is street legal can someone tell me what tires and sizes would be the best all around thank you

On my 72 mach I have Goodyear 245/60/R15 in front and 275/60/R15 in back and it looks great, not much of a chance to test the performance of this tire set-up but hopefully they'll performe as good as they look

yeah mine are 225-45-14 all the way around i want to get 4 more tires and 4 more rims but do the tires need to be balnced every time i change them??

Yes, you must rebalance anytime tires are removed from the rims, unless the tires are marked as to where the weights are on the wheel - assumes you can get them installed in just the same place on the rims when they were balanced.

I just put 16x8 vintage 45s on a 73 convertible. The tires are 245/55r16, though I get a little rubbing on the inside on really tight turns - I think 245/45r16s would do better in front. But it looks 100% different with these rims. And the road handling is so different that it almost doesn't feel like the same car. It was the most expensive upgrade to the suspension, but it was still the most valuable handling wise upgrade dollar per dollar. Previously it had 14x6 (?) stock wheels with 205/70r14s.

could i have some oppinions please i want to put diferent rims on my car and sell my 68/69 gt rims how much could i sell those for and would it look dumb to have the 14 inch bf goodrich radials on the front and the really wide bf goodrichs on the back?? thank you
