I just did the clutch pedal support rebuild on my 65 coupe and the only difference I notice is that on the old rod that goes through the center.
The old one was split and peened at the clutch pedal side whereas the new one just slips through the notch in the clutch pedal. Do I have to peen this over as well or will it hold on its own? I do not see how it could actually. If I do have to peen this any tips so I don't ruin the rod?
As always all replies are appreciated.
