Hey guys....I came across this on another site and was wondering if it is for a mustang? He says its a wide ratio for a 289 and that it is a "HEH-BV with the correct tailshaft".....correct for what? What would be a good price in unknown condition?...thnx ...

HEH BV is 65-66 falcon/ fairlane 289 wide ratio.
Looks like the tail is drilled and tapped for either shifter position and should work in a mustang as well.
Price is tougher. It's not a more desireable tag number(say out of a hipo or something). I see them range in price from $400 and up generally.
