Looking at a package deal for a set of wheels. I have a stock '66 with a fresh Kelsey-Hayes disc brake install. The 15" X 7" rims in the package have 3.75" of backspace and an negative offset of 6mm. I've seen on charts the correct backspace is 4 inches. Will these be ok with 205/60R15 tires? Anyone have experience with this size on this year Mustang?

Use the 15x6 with a 205-65-15 tire. 205 is a little narrow for me on a 7" wide rim not that people don't do it though. The 205-60 is a fairly short tire. The 205-65 is a better fit

I'm running 215/60/15 on 15x7 TTD's all around. It's a tight fit at least on my car as it's lowered a bit. I run a fair amount of negative camber as well for clearance. You'll be better off with 205/60/15's at least in front.
