In my desperate attempt to get this engine fired up before the fall i need to seal up the transmission.
What does anybody think about using rubber lines to go from the trans to the trans cooler. I know it should be hard lines but they are hard to bend, expensive to purchase prebent and with rubber in a 1/2 hr and some zip ties.....done. My one thought is the rubber will break down over time (maybe a long time).
Thoughts ???

Other then moving objects in the engine bay i don't think it will be a problem if you use an oil resitant hose and double clamps.

Just make sure you use the right hose. Other than that shoudn't be a problem.

If you're just firing the engine and aren't driving the car, just loop some rubber hose between the ports on the trans. I just use 250 psi rated oil resistant hose, the same stuff I use for low pressure hydraulics (like suction lines).
