I have a rusted floor issue in my 68 coupe. I am debating whether or not to use a floor pan from MU or get the sections of floor pans which is much cheaper. My only issue is the transmission tunnel. It looks like the person who half-a$$ed the removal of stuff before bent all around where the shifter mounts in. one side even looks cute a little where there are no bolt holes. My question is can i get this area made or buy from somewhere? maybe a donor car?? new to body work and welding so all advice is appreciated. Thanks

I put the 1 piece floorpan in on my 70 (same as a 68). It was very easy to take the old floorpan out at the factory seam instead of trying to save the trans tunnel and patch the floorpan. No unsightly seams. And the 1 piece floorpan is not that expensive.
