I'm looking for info on the trap door....... I have the trap door and the handle that is on the right hand side of the trap door that you push on to move the door up and down. My question .....Is there a sheet metal bracket that is welded to the body to catch this handle to hold it in place so when you let go it stays up? See picture .... arrow shows where I think the "catch" would be....or is there just a "prop rod" that goes somewhere that I'm not aware of? I am working on a rebuild and can't figure out how it stays in the "up" position. If you have a picture of this part or area.... anything would help..........

Yes it is a welded bracket for 67-68, to keep the trap door lodged in the up position. I don't have a pick right now as the car is stored for the winter. I don't think that particular bracket is repro'd.
