Thanks. Is there a video as to how to use the tool? Not sure what the quarter inch hole is for.
The hole are for the end of the rod. With rod fixed in 2 points you can safely hold and twist the rod .
The tool are used in this video. I think he makes it look much harder than it actually is, especially because he's doing it from the inside of the car. Put a little more thinking into it and it can be done with no or minimal damage to the paint.

So I made the tool out of my 1/8 thick aluminum. I was mistaken as it was 1" wide. The quarter inch hole would not fit over the torsion bar so I made it 9/32. That was large enough. Maybe I have thick paint there LOL. Put duct tape over the hinge where I thought the tool could scrape it. Once the tool was on, it took all of 3-4 seconds to move one bar to the rear most not notch. Both were in the middle notch to begin with. Doing just one side did the trick nicely.
