Does anyone know if can buy trunk mat material so I can make my own. I don't want to run a spare tire and all the trunk mats stop before the Right quarter panel on a 66. Or does anyone have any ideas on this. Thanks

Contact Auto Custom Carpets in Anniston, Alabama to see if they make and sell a plaid trunk mat material they can custom cut one for you, or you may find someone that has a used one they are selling and you can make one overlap the other. ACC may also have another material you like that can be cut by you or them for a custom fit.

You can buy bulk rubber matting/flooring at Home Depot and apply the plasticized fabric of your choice with some 3M Super99.

I would buy the matching spare tire cover and cut a strip out of it to extend the mat over the drop like the driver's side. It should be simple to match the plaid pattern to achieve a nearly invisible seam. $22.56 at NPD!
