I've been attempting for some time to resist the urge to put TTDs on the 66'. The excuse has been the sole 3 3/4" backspacing offered by AR for the TTD in a 15 x 7 complemented by the fact that I DO NOT want to roll my front fenders.

Now the problem,...I have run into a nice guy with a set of TTDs he wants to sell. The kicker is the almost new set of Hoosier R3S03 roadrace tires that are included in the deal. The tires are 215/60-15s. How much fender interference will I have. Remember, my car is pretty low already. (I've made the deal and am buying them anyway!)

Thanks for the advice!

I have TTD's on my 1" lowered '66. I run 225x60's in back and 215x60's in front on 15x7 wheels. I've made no mods to the fenders and have no rubbing.

You shouldn't have a problem with the 215s. I ran 225s on a in-the-grass car on which I rolled only the first 1/4 inch if the fender and the only time I caught the lip was when I was backing out of a well sloped space onto a flat street. I have a set of 4 8 1/2s TTDs I wanted to try out but I'm getting nervious about the fronts. I ran 8s OK, but my fenders are rolled.
