Had a curious thought...Why not make a turn signal hood from a standard hood. How feasible would this be as far as sheetmetal goes? I realize additional wiring would have to be run. Any other things that are different between a turn signal hood and non-turn signal hood?

Thanks

One major difference is the indentions along behind the cutouts. This would be hard to duplicate. Even though the under side panel is the same for both.

The time/labor value would be too high since you can get a decent one for $100-$150.

Don't even think about it...just buy another hood. Way too difficult.

I should have been more specific. I have a standard hood with a decent front lip. I have found a decent TS hood with a rusted front lip. I was wondering about cutting the lip off of my good hood and welding it to the TS hood.

Thanks
