I am changing out my floor right now on a 65 and repairing the toe boards and want to know where I should transition the color?

Should I just use the firewall to floor seam to go from the color I will use to the under hood black? What is typically done on the frames and extensions, a tape line in the same location?

There will not be a definite line, but instead the engine bay paint will feather back into the tunnel and down the firewall towards the floorpan. You want to spray the engine bay paint onto the firewall and not bend down too much. This should give you a pretty accurate replication of where the transition of engine bay - to - underside paint would be.

Thanks. I'm doing the underside this spring and will not be under the hood much till fall so I will just come up the firewall some to an area that looks close and leave it. Do you have a pic of a painted car with no motor so I can get a general idea?
