Well, while not a Gen1 fastback, my foxbody is the hatchback variety and I keep the back seats down.

The last time mine was up in my blue one was when 2 of my work buddies decided we'd take my car to lunch. 1 was 5'7", the other was 6'3"... guess who lost the coin toss!! I made sure to make a few hard launches and carve a few corners with the big lummox back there- poor car looked like a water buffalo giving birth when he squeezed out!! We were dying laughing at the time, and I can't stop smiling right now while typing! lol!

70 mach 1, the rear seat is only usable for children, down always.

I remember Mom and Dad taking us to the drive in movies in Hawaii back in 1969 in our 69 Mach1. 4 boys aged from 8 to 4 with the seat folded down and a couple of pillows. Mom bought us fudgesicles from the snack bar and Dad made us eat them outside the car, can't say I blame him! kip

Kept it down on my previous 70 Sportsroof and I'll keep it down on this one once I have it installed.
