I'm looking to do a front disc brake swap on my I6.

The reason I'm looking to swap out the rear end is because I want to use some 5-bolt wheels that I have. The guy I bought my mustang from has a V-8 rear end for $100. IS there any modifications I'd need to do to get this to work with my I-6? Is this worth it or is there any other way to go from 4 bolt to 5 bolt lug pattern on the rear end?

I have a conmplete V8 suspension in my car - Front and rear disc brakes, 5 lug spindles and an 8" Detroit Locker differential.

Kent covered it... Definitely need a new u-joint.

The only issue is what year rear end you will be getting.

'67 and up are wider and will change your track. If its a '65-66 rear end, no probs except for the already noted need to change the u-joint, and freshing up brakes and such.
