I noticed that off the back of my carb there is a little rectangular block w/ two nozzles on it on has a vaccum line atached the other is sucking alot of air, where should this be attached or should it just be plugged?
At least plug it for now. You will see a marked change in the idle. One probably goes to the dist vacuum (sp) adv. The other I guess depends on what accessories you may have.
one does go to the vaccum advance the other is open ... I had planned to plug it for the time being ... I was just wondering if there was somthing that needed a vacuum tube that was missing
Shucks, install a vacuum gauge in the car, and then you can make use of the extra port. I have one, and it's a great tuning / troubleshooting aid. Oh, as for your question, do you have a vacuum reserve canister or auto trans? The canister could not be hooked up and you may not notice.
