If a car stumbles at idle a little but runs fine at speed, does that mean it's likely doesn't have a vacuum leak or no?

Thanks.

A stumble could be a vaccum leak. When does it stumble? As you start to pull off, or just while it's sitting there? If the condition occures when you pull off it may be a poorly adjusted pump shot.

I should have said, it's not a Mustang, but a fuel injected car that idles fine but idles rough in gear with the brakes on but drives fine. Probably needs timed but I don't have the proper tool to get at it yet-German automotive product you see.

Better Question: Why not come to the git-together this PM. Snellville only about 1.5 hours away?

Sounds like the leak maybe a bad master cyl power brake booster.....check and tighten all lines pertaining to this....

MY 280z had this problem......it also made the car run a bit hotter at idle

good luck!!!
