I have a 65 coupe that I have replaced most of the original ornamants and chrome on. i.e. Bumpers, Horse, corral, grille bars, fender emblems, inner and outer mirrors, heater betzel, tail light betzels, gas cap, etc. all of the parts are original except one tail light betzel. The bumpers and tail light betzels are quite pitted, but all of the other chrome is in ok condition. Most of the chrome on these parts is faded and could use rechroming. I was wondering if these parts are of value? Can I sell them or are they trash?
Thanks for any input.

I too replaced all of the chrome on my 66 convertible. I sold it all to a local guy for about $200 although this also included the old carpet, sunvisors, top boot and dashpad none of which was in great condition. You probably won't get rich but I'd bet its worth something to someone.

Put it on ebay and see what it brings. Put that the buyer pays shipping, and you have nothing to loose. (Make sure you get a money ordre, or wait for the check to clear)

e-bay them. Trust me. I've made a pile of $$ selling old parts off of e-bay. CLean the stuff the best you can with 000 steel wool first. Post a photo. You'll be surprised.

If you are going to "throw them out", I'll take them...I'll pay the shipping. e-mail me if you decide to ditch the stuff. [email protected].
