Does anyone make the vent window gasket for 67/68s? This is the gasket that secures the glass into the stainless frame.

I found a rubberized/tar like strip product at a local shop. ~1/16" thich x 1 1/2" wide, cut to length. Wipe it with kerosene to soften, press in place, trim at edge of window. Don't have a name for it...

Never seen a pre formed "channel" wstrip for this application.

Yep, I figured "kerosene-y-tape-y-rubber-type-strip-stuff-for-sealing-windows" wasn't the right one! :p

I've got the glass tape but its not wide enough to go all the way up where the handle attaches. I suppose I can use two pieces side by side there.

When I did mine I had to add a little extra where the vent window handle attaches, it was no problem.

Yep, did the same. Added a tiny bit and then rubbed it down with a solvent to "melt" it a bit and smooth it out. No one has ever noticed...
