Was the voltage regulator for the '71 - '73 integrated into the alternator, or is it a separate component? Where would it be located if separate?

my 73 torino had a voltge regulator that was kind of hidden up near the passenger headlight. I would assume your car had a voltage regulator too. Sometimes they are hidden from sight. follow wiring from alternator or solenoid to see if it is hidden out of sight. That would be how I would approach it...good luck, Todd P.

It's located underneath the starter solenoid, behind the battery on the pass side fender apron.
