My 1965 2+2 did not come with a W/S washer set up. What is used to fill the holes on the cowl where the nozzles mount? I have seen two photos where it appears rubber plugs are used in one and possibly bolts in the other. What did Ford use?? Also, what about the screw holes ? ?They are left 'open' in one photo and appear to be filled in the other (body filler? ...painted over?). My car DOES have the hole in the firewall for the wire to the pump, is there a grommet to fill this one? or is it left open ??
Finally, does anyone know of a supplier for the above grommets and/or bolts..etc??? ??

You could install the nozles and not hook them up. More, so I wish someone made a kit that let you have similar looking wiper arms with built in hoses to spray window cleaner so I could keep the cowl covered and still have washers...oh well, can't have the best of both worlds. Kory

The holes were filled with the same stuff used to seal over the gap if the car did have washers from the factory. The closest stuff I've found is 3M corded chalk. Basically it's chalk formed/supplied in a thin (1/8" round) round strip

This was placed in place after the car was painted

Not sure why the car has the hole for the washers even though it didn'thave them. I suggest you find a standard grommet (S?) at the local hardware store.
