i finally got some traction out of my 69 stang and pulled a 1.93 60ft time and ran a 13.10 at 104.4 mph. i put some shelby traction bars on it on thursday and i ran it yesterday before the DOWN poor, there was 2-3 inches of water on the track at one point, needles to say i didnt get any traction after that. went back today and it was about 85 i would say, very slight breeze and the sun was on and off all day. i power breaked up to 900-1000 rpms and took off and ran the time. if i go anything above that i wheel hope just a sec and then go, so i think with a set of hoosier drag radials i shouldnt have a problem with traction. if i can launch at 1300-1400 that would be great. but this winter i wanna put an AOD with a 3000 stall in it then i should be up too 1800-1900 :) and be into the mid 12's with my 4.11's in the rear also. :: ::
