Trying to get info for the original/missing door data plate. Have all the items figured out using the VIN and Buck Tag except for the warrenty # and the DSO. The warrenty # should be part of the VIN I think. What part? As for the DSO, any way to figure it out without papers/life history of the car? ::

Correct on Warranty Number. That is the VIN for the car. So all you have left is the DSO. Might try running your VIN number against the 65-66 registry and see if any other cars are close in production with same DSO.

Unless there is some clue on the car (original plate frames, dealer emblem, buck tag when its an export or some other supporting documentation) the answer is no. Cars serial number near each other have no impact on others (generally)
