Found the Mouse Trap Monday youtube channel. Sometimes youtube is awesome.

Think I may try the Squirrelinator!

I used rat traps (big mouse traps) on crows that kept raiding my dogs food bowls. Would work for squirrels unless you want catch and release.

An un-attended Mustang cowl apparently makes a pretty good squirrel / chipmunk / mouse nest.

Kinda had an explosion in the ground squirrel population at the park behind the house this year. Used to see one or two occasionally. Now there are many all the time. They are also burrowing in my yard and under the paver walkway. Ended up ordering a single critter trap that will fit in the wash tub. Should arrive today.

I've heard that a couple neighbors are doing the same.

I once owned a 67 Econoline, one of those 60s models with the engine between the seats. The previous owner had bought a new van and left this one sitting in the drive at his rural home for several weeks until deciding to sell it. For the first couple weeks I would occasionally have to pull to the side of the road when I smelled smoke and take a coat hanger and try to fish smoldering acorns out from around the exhaust manifold.
