well, i thought that Tripod was great and I uploaded a bunch of images for some ebay auctions I am running. Little did I know that they do not allow linking from another site so today after my auctions have been running since Sunday, all my picture links are broken. If someone has a place I can dump about 50 pictures please let me know. They can be removed next monday.

You are exactly where I was several months ago, trying this free web hoster, that free web hoster and not really being happy with any of them. I ended up buying my own domain name through fatcow.com which included 100 mb of web space, 100 email accounts, etc for 99 bucks a year (that included the cost of the domain name). If you need the space right away, let me know and I will create a folder at my web site for you to temporarily load your pics.

man, this is a pita!! i had a website for years that a friend gave me all the space i needed. they switched hosting services a while back and all the user stuff got deleted. my site is still up though.. just can't get to it to do anything.

i signed up with honesty.com i'm just using them for these auctions and then thats it. probably do something like the $99 per year deal for a domain and 100mb
