Weird observation on Geocities pictures...

I've noticed several references to pictures hosted on Geocities not showing up when referenced externally (like from the VMF). Maybe my computer is just weird, but I haven't had any problems viewing pictures from Geocities. They all show up just as intended. What do you guys think?

My picture should show up ok... it isn't on Geocities, and it shows up fine on my end. Also, other people who have their pictures on Prohosting (where mine is) haven't had any problems.

I just find it weird that Geocities stuff is showing up fine for me, but everyone else is having trouble with it.

I dont see your pic neither... :(

The picture is in your cache stored locally on your computer, no one else can see it. If you clear your cache
it probably won't show up on your PC either.

But all I see is a broken link on yours as well. And I can't ever remember seeing a geocities picture (in a non-geocities page) that I could see.

Why don't people just use their ISP's that they're already paying for the service instead of using these free POS services? I've just never figured that one out.

That's weird. I've cleared my cache, and it still shows up without a hitch. I tried it under both Netscape and IE as well. Also, 66Boss351 uses Prohosting for his stuff (same as I do), and his stuff shows up fine for me... I Guess I'll have to fiddle around with things some more.

Is it showing up?

I see nothing but text in his post (using IE 5.5). I do see a broken link in 66restomod's profile, but nothing in his posts.

actually i am getting quite agitated with prohosting, that stupid ad is really getting annoying, so i am going to be moving my site over to my hosts server, right now i am just posting my pics for the VMF on there, but eventually i will have prohosting redirecting my whole site over to at&t

Sometimes my Geocities pics don't load correctly.

Usually they come up if I reload.
