Well, I actually got out the MIG today and started welding in the floor on the drivers side. Spent about 3 hours I guess, and got part of the tranny tunnel side done, and most of the door side done. The plug welds where the sheet metal screws were are very nice, the beads on the actual edges are another story. I'm just glad that this will all be hidden once it is done. I think they will grind down, but right now they are pretty rough looking. I was concerned about them being solid, but with my 225lbs jumping on the floor, and then using the jack and a 4x4 to lift, the floor didn't budge. I'll try and finish tomorrow, including the underside. If they clean up, I'll try to get some pics.

Floor pans are a pain, but you'll be happy when its finished, and look at all the money you saved by doing it yourself. Speeking of welds...when I got my first mig, I knew the grinder was invented just for me. *G*
