I put the box on the drivers side of my 65 FB and am curious if that gusset will get in the way of my fuel line routing? It already looks like it would be real close to the bolt holes that mount the power steering cylinder on the bottom of the frame.
Now, I dont have factory steering, the car has a rack, but I dont want to preclude any future owners from changing the steering back to a stock style, and I have brand new fuel lines to install and I dont need anything in the way.

What would you do? Install the gusset or not?

? The 65-66 fuel line goes nowhere near the torque box, it passes it on the inside of the frame extension.

Ok, but do you see in your pic where it turns and goes outside the frame, that's right where that gusset goes?

The gusset didn't appear until later, don't use it.
