I knew when i bought this carb that it was too big, but i got a good deal on it. I also knew for a long time now that it needed to be tuned down, I just never got around to doing it. Today i put in a smaller accelerator pump cam and jetted the carb down, man what a difference. Its scarey off the line now when it gets traction. :: I think i still need to jet it down some. I just needed to share that with some one. seeya

How big is the carb, and how did you jet it?

My carb is a 750 Holley. It came with #72 jets. I went down to #68, still to big. Now i have #66 in there. But i live at 4200 feet elevation, if i went to a lower elevation i would probably have to jet it back up.
