This was a great weekend for me--picked up my new F-250 Powerstroke on Saturday, what a great truck! I'll post a picture later this week after I get back from the MCA Board meeting. Had the truck one day and I already have one modification on it. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif Turns out the Bullitt Mustang fuel door fits F-250s perfectly. It really looks cool on there, especially since my truck is Dark Shadow Grey.
We also got both fenders, hood, and deck lid back on Trouble and adjusted to fit. We're going to start with primer filler on the hood next week. The car sure looks good when most of the body parts are on it! Nice and straight lines and the pieces fit really well (after many adjustments), especially considering that the hood and deck lid are fiberglass and one front fender is aftermarket.
We had a near-doofus when we realized that we had totally covered the holes in the shock towers for the brake lines. But, Chuck found them and drilled them out while we were both holding our breath. No paint damage and they're ready to be used. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
Congrats to the new truck. Its nice to pick up a NEW car, isnt it?! /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
Sounds like a fun "toy"! /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
And I guess another good thing about it is, that it wont need much (any?!) work at all, for the next couple of years! /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
This also means that youve got more time on hand for your Stangs. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif /forums/images/icons/smile.gif /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
