I'm talking about the hoses on the bowl vent tubes?

I have no idea what those hoses are for.
But that is one sweet, sweet car!

Is this a test?? hehehe

Those are bowl vent balancing tubes.....likely the car uses a boundary layer hood scoop....the tubes balance the pressure in the bowls in relation to the postive pressure created by the airflow from the high pressure area in front of the windshield....

Likely a Pro Stock or similar type vehicle...

When the front end of the car comes down hard, like after a wheelie, fuel can slosh out of the vents and flood the engine. If you get enough liquid on top of a piston you can even break a piston or hammer a rod bearing. The hose redirect the fuel away from the top of the carbs. They cured a big problem for me on my last drag car.

I'm thinking it's a still, disguised to look like a dual quad setup! Must be a southern car.
