I was going to put my new 351 W in my 66 but the 289 A code with all its goodies is fast enough and, as everyone knows, you probably can't recover even 1/4 of your building costs on a used motor regardless how good it is. I am thinking maybe a four door sleeper (grandma car) in the light to medium weight range. The only thing I can come up with is a Maverick, Comet or Fairlaine. Any other suggestions that the 351 would fit into with minimal work and still look like a stock Civic could beat at the lights ???

There's this guy in my neighborhood that has a butt-ugly POS white 70s Ford station wagon that he drives everywhere he goes. Turns out it's got a Police Interceptor engine in it, and hauls ass. If it wasn't so damn heavy, it would be the ultimate sleeper.

Some people are having big fun with Fairmonts and Zephyrs if you want to go a little newer. These cars came in 2 door, 4 door, and wagons. The nice thing is you can use a lot of Fox-body Mustang hotrod stuff on one as the share the same chassis and drivetrain.

Is the 351W really high performance? Yeah, OK. How about a Fairmont wagon?

I'd like to see that web site, if you've got it...

I agree with the Fairmont! It has the fox chassis and already used the C-4 and an 8.8 inch rear. That or an actual fox body notchback mustang that just looked sleeper would work well.
