Not for my Stang but for my sanity and to speed up the build process (I hope). Trying to get a bit more organized in the shop. Mounted my DeWalt battery charger. How in the world these don't have keyholes in the back is beyond me. Gonna try to do some more things like this today.

Autocrossed with the South Bend SCCA today, took second out of 4 in Cam-T. Then I got to follow my car for 60 miles when a local SCCA "INR" members car broke and ended up on my trailer. I loved it, and that Arvinode exhaust sounds so sweet!

Started messing around with the vacuum / air conditioning system. Radio and glove box liner are out. Overall vacuum system seems to work, but likely need two vacuum solenoids and a new tensioner pulley. Electrical system seems to work, so new harnesses in the engine bay paid off!

Well.. unfortunately the time has come.. took a nice ride, filled up the tank and threw in some Seafoam. Got home and cleaned her up, hooked up the battery tender and covered her up for the long winters nap. Sigh.. someday I need to move south.

Come on down - the crusin' is fine !
I can't wait to be off work the next 4 days with sunshine in the forecast for 3 of em. I have a full tank of non-E, fresh oil, tires at 35, it is washed and vacuumed and I am ready to ride on my old thundering steed.

After swapping CD boxes (Jacobs for a MSD), my tach read 1000 Rs higher. Today, I installed a MSD #8910 Tach Adapter to correct it.

Drove my son to school in it (nothing out of the ordinary there) in yet another attempt to get him "noticed" by the girl that drives the nice '67 in the parking lot. She waved today!

Yesterday and today I pulled an Argentine made Flaming River steering box and replaced it with a quality rebuilt unit from Chockostang.
The task done from laying on a creeper with the 68 on jackstands.
I hope it's the last big job the car needs, these 80 year old bones don't much like working under cars.

I went to the office and waited on my CVF Racing pulleys that were scheduled for delivery today. About 2pm I checked and it said "Not delivered because of business closure". I drove to UPS and the guy tells me, "That package is still on the trailer but I'll get someone to find it and call you." I called them at 4:15 pm and he said they haven't found it yet but would as soon as they do. 30 minutes later, "We think that package is in the nose of the trailer", (BS, no way they could know where it is on a damn trailer).

So I tell him, it's fine, I'll get it Monday...yeah, it's a holiday so I didn't push too hard.

Washed and dried both of the driven cars, went to the local Cruise-In for a bit, and let our sons do a little Christmas shopping for one another and for their Mom.
