I don't know if it's the same guy, but I've seen the same bus twice last year. Once at our show in Huntsville, and once in Chatanooga. He was trying to sell the bus and parts as one unit. I wasn't that impressed with his inventory though. I don't remember his total price, but it seemed high to me.

He sold all of them to Don Barry - who will slap some paint on 'em, label 'em NOS and try to resell them at a HUGE profit. ;) Dickson

Too bad I didn't know you lived in Huntsville, I was up there last Thurs and Friday visiting the US Space and Rocket center. I could have met a real life VMFer......darn!!

Trying to sell a bus full of parts as a whole? That sounds like laziness to me.....hehe

What is the story on Don Barry, I've seen reference to him many times on this and the old forum. I've seen his site, is he a rip-off artist?

How do you do a search on a person. Sorry for another dumb question, I need to learn one new thing a day. I tried to do a search on me. Thanks

I wonder if this "guy with the bus" is the same one that I ran into last year at the Charlotte AutoFair in NC? He had a pair of buckets for a 65 that were basically only good for the frames, and he stated that he wouldn't take anything less than $450.00 for the pair.

Man was a serious headcase....lol

Dang! Just when I got used to being "strange", I became a "newbie". Now I'm a "tire kicker"....thump, thump.....he he

At the top of the Forum there is a "search" you can click on. In the subject just type in "Don Barry" However, since the "new" forum is so new and he has not been discussed yet - you might have to go back to the old Forum and search there.
hope this helps,
Mike

Thanks for the info. I thought you might be able to search on the user that placed the post. I had tried that in the past so that I could go back and read responses to my questions. There are so many posts in this forum that if you miss a couple of days, it gets really difficult to find your posts.

I think if you put the persons name in the search subject it will search that way - at least that is how it used to work!
I know what ya mean about missing a day of posts!
