I have a freshly rebuilt 289. The cam has a 224 duration(intake and exhaust) and a .333 Lobe lift. The Holley 650 DP is brand new, but I it is still running way rich. I have read that it could be an improperly rated power valve. Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated.
The backfires and sluggishness is getting annoying. The rest of my combo is listed below.
Also, is anyone running a similar combo, what kind of times are you running?
