here's my prob guys. I am pretty sure that I am going to have my 70 fastback painted laser red metallic that comes on the late model stangs. i want some kind of black stripes but I dont know of any kind of stripe designs that would look good bc the 69-70 bc of the the way the middle of the 69-70 hoods are shaped. I figure the stripes that are used on the 64-68 wont work bc of the shape of the hood. Any ideas anyone? Any kind of ideas are greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone has pics I would really appreciate it. Thanks

I would blackout the hood, rear decklid and rear tailamp panel like on a Boss 302. I would not put the Boss stripes on the side thus representing the car to be something it isn't.

Torque Thrust D's, Crager 200S's or Minilites for wheels. Be sure to lower the car about 1" all the way around.

Will be very, very sharp!

Man, if my dad wasnt in the tv room i would think this was him lol. He tells me to black out the hood also. I havent seen many cars with this setup to judge if i want to go this route but i am considering it. If you know of any links with this setup let me know. I also am going to put the honeycomb panel on the back bc i like the way it looks and i have one. I am definitely not putting the boss side stripes and badgings though bc im not into misrepresenting either. Oh, and by the way, my 1" drop springs just came in today ;-) As far as wheels, I gotta get the car done and wheels will come in time. Thanks for the advice.

One word - FLAMES! Given the outrageousness of that lazer red paint, I would come up an outrageous flame job for the front, and the typical blackout taillight panel in the rear....

I personally like the flat black hoods like the 69 Mach 1s had. If you like those, you can find the dimensions for them in the Mustangs Unlimited catalog.
